There were 5.98 million private businesses in the UK at the start of 2020 and 99.8% were SMEs with less than 250 employees. SME’s accounted for 52% of private sector turnover in 2020 and 60% of all private sector jobs in the UK (a total of 16.6 million). 95.7% of businesses have fewer than 10 employees and 76.3% have no employees. Small businesses (1-9 employees) generated 36% of the estimated total turnover of UK businesses in 2020. However on average, the survival rate of SMEs is only 75,8% after 2 years and 42,5% after 5 years.

WHO we are:
Evais a brand storyteller and marketing communications expert, with over 20 years’ experience in international corporations & sports events. She believes in the transformational power of a clear, concise, and consistent brand story, unfolding into a marketing strategy, to achieve business goals.
In 2021, she launched her own company, The Wellbeing Catalyst, aiming at increasing people’s wellness through sounds and yoga. She has been applying the methodologies learned from her corporate career into the small entrepreneur realm, so she walks the talk of launching a small company.
